Support Groups are Very Helpful
I urge you to find a support group in your area. It is so helpful to visit with others who are living gluten free. You will be able to find local resources for shopping, dining, and get some questions answered. Many support groups have newsletters that include recipes. Our support group often has a gluten free potluck at their meeting and it is so enjoyable to know you can eat everything on the table! We urge members to bring their recipes, or at least a list of ingredients as some members have other allergies - corn, dairy, etc. Each meeting has a program and a question and answer session. You will learn about new gluten free products that are available. We are willing to go grocery shopping with new members. Life goes on and new friends are made each month.
